Any android users having problems with phone being on silient and fitibit not allowing notifications to push.
I keep my phone on silient during the day and at bedtime. All of a sudden, I'm getting this message
"Your phone ringer is not on. Incoming calls and app notifications will not be sent to your tracker while your phone is in silient mode. This is only happening since the latest update.
This seems to be intentionally designed - Fitbit assumes that if you've muted your phone, you don't want notifications at all, including on your wrist.
I tend to keep my phone silenced at work to avoid vibration noises that could bother my coworkers, but I still want to receive the notifications on my wrist, so I wish they'd change this setting to allow users to decide.
Best AnswerYep exact issue here. DND and Silent both prevent notifications on my Versa. I'm on a OnePlus 5.
Only way around it is to set it to loud then turn it on to Vibrate. Problem is then all notifications vibrate, and I'm not aware of a way to disable vibrate.
