Any resolution to over counting steps

Recently bought versa and it’s way over counting my steps and I’m getting fed up with it now as the main reason I spent €200 is to have an accurate step counter. 

I’ve tried restarting, doing full factory reset, changing stride and hand dominance settings and all the other internet advice.

It doesnt add steps when left still but does add lots of steps EVERYTIME I move my hand. 

Has anybody had this problem resolved, is it just an issue with versa and I should try and refunding it?

Quite frustrated as had a much cheaper tracker watch which was much more efficient and now regret moving on to Fitbit at all.

Have you set your wrist placement correctly @Kikidi-ok.

While Fitbit has a doemwn lots if of zeroing into detecting that the feet are moving by looking at arm motions, it us not perfect solution

Yes have set it to dominant while wearing on my non dominant hand but this hasn’t helped at all.
