App shows steps but dashboard doesn't

My dashboard shows 0 steps.

 

If I click the steps icon, it still shows 0. If I tap "Today" in the list, then it shows me the same number of steps that my FitBit has and the graph of steps for time looks accurate. 

 

I have a Versa and it seems to be syncing with my Samsung Galaxy S9+.

Yes @erin0915 Fitbit is aware of this android app issue.

After a sync the homescreen updates.
