App won’t track steps

This is a huge problem with versa2. All of a sudden steps on my app disappeared. Was showing calories burned but now nothing as main goal.  Read all the forums on how to fix and nothing is working. Fitbit needs to recognize this is a major flaw with the versa 2. Can anyone help me fix this issue? I went into settings and it had steps listed as main goal. Turned off Bluetooth and then back on. Restarted phone. Several other things as well

In your app, is the Versa 2 still connected to your Fitbit account @JenHam

I have the same problem. I was tracking steps/distance and then last night, the app just switched to calories. I've done everything in the forums and nothing seems to fix it. The Versa 2 is still linked to my app (and I just replaced it with a new one because the old Versa 2 had stopped responding to touch so I couldn't access any of my menus).

I finally figured it out. I tried everything too. Here’s how I fixed mine. On your main app page at the top right, click edit. Under manage activity click steps. If steps doesn’t appear,click show all it the +add button.

Thanks! I kept trying to edit and it gave me no options other than the calories (no option to change anything). I finally had to completely uninstall the app and reload it on my phone to get the options to come up that you described. It is fixed and showing steps and distance again now.
