What apps are going to be available? Will you be able to view snapchat on the versa or see posts on facebook (not just the notification of the post), and read e-mail using gmail? How about messenger from facebook? the weather channel app? I've searched all over google and cannot find what apps will be available!

None of the apps you listed are available, that's not to say they won't be available in the future though. At the moment all you will see from those apps are the notifications from your phone.

Remember, if your phone gives you notifications about FB messages then you will see those on your Fitbit as well.
