I just switched to auto-detect for exercise instead of manually starting exercises last week on my Versa, and when I looked at my dashboard, all of the exercises show 'N/A' for the distance. One of the primary reason for recording the exercises is to keep track of the distance and pace of my workouts. Do I need to go back to manually recording all of my exercises? Seems a little odd, as the device keeps track of distance during the timeframe.
Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best AnswerYes, it is normal to not get distance on auto detected activity. So you probably need to use the exercise app.

I like to start my exercise app on my phone, but since switching to the Versa, the auto exercise keeps starting and I cannot find how to turn OFF the auto exercise tracking. I thought I had found a way - but went for a run tonight after starting my fitbit app on my phone and the auto exercise kept trying to start every several minutes the entire time. I kept turning it off on my watch, but it would start again. I do NOT want to use the auto-tracking. I want to select what I am doing on the app and get my distance and map the way I always have. How do I turn off the auto-tracking? It isn't even accurate. One day I was walking and it said I was cycling.
