Bad bluetooth connection

I have a pair of JBL earbuds and when trying to connect bluetooth, it either will not connect, after it has connected, to reconnect I have to delete them from versa and reinstall. Once connected to playback has terrible connection where the songs play as if there is interference with the connection. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and have the same results. Basically I have to use my phone when working out because the connection with my earbuds is so terrible. When connecting my earbuds with any other devices there isn't any issues.

I have really cheap Bluetooth headset (about $9 worth) and they connect ok, but and there is a but, if I raise my arm to shoulder height then I lose connection and the playback vanishes, lowering my arm again and the song once again sounds in my ears. I don't think the Bluetooth signal being transmitted from the watch is particularly strong, as many people seem to have the same issue with the music cutting out even with expensive headsets or earbuds.

However since I have to have my phone with me anyway for the connected GPS I just went back to using that to play the music. I'm hoping they improve both the wireless and Bluetooth capabilities with future devices or I may just have to throw a tantrum.

Mine was a gift. I have a Samsung gear fit 2. The versa has a more stylish
look to you. I can also transfer songs via the gear fit app to the watch.
Versa I need to transfer from a computer. Another feature I don't like
