They deleted 3 threads of mine where I summed up all my personal findings = problems I proofed here in other threads. The first mod claimed it was "cross-posting" ... but there were only links to threads where I proofed a single problem and there were no links back to my summary.
I tried to reach out to 2 different moderators and no one even replied ...
Yesterday I got a refurbished replament from customer support without straps. Hoping that everything will work out fine, I tried to mount the ones from my original Versa.
Surprise, the old straps do not fit as the holes are a little bit off (about 1mm). Mounting them back on the old one was easily done in seconds.....
I replied to customer support explaning the prob and telling them that I am an engineer and know what I am talking about ....
If I am capable of fitting them back on my orginal within seconds and it does not work on the replament after trying for about half an hour they just should believe this and find a solution !
Their reply today is symptomatic: They emailed back a link to their dumbest customer ever ...
I am totally frustrated and never faced such a bad of customer treatment and lack of attention ever before !
Fitbit product quality is unsatisfying and their products hit the market like green bananas 😞

@5ggggg If you're in the US, I recommend that you call support. It's frustrating, but I've had success that way. This is a known defect with some of the replacement "pebbles" and they should take care of you. I had to send a link to a video showing my case number and me struggling to attach the band, but that's it. When I got a second defective "pebble," I demanded that they ship the full kit with a band attached and they sent it overnight as soon as my return package was picked up by USPS. You need to call and push and demand to speak to a supervisor.

I am from Europe/Austria and the support I called weeks ago has no technical understanding at all. It is just a waste of time.
