Battery Life

I recently found that my battery was not lasting as long as it used to or as long as it should.  I did the battery test with the people at Fitbit support and they agreed that there seems to be a battery drain issue and gave me all the instructions on how to send it back for a replacement....BUT now I am wondering if the drain could be related to the change in usage.....

just this past week I have been spending 2 hours in the gym every day and I’m using the exercise modes to track my workouts...sometimes I am using multiple ones..elliptical, treadmill, workout...I change it when I change what I am doing....

could this be contributing to the battery drain or is there really no excuse in that it should last no matter how I am using it?

Are you playing music from the Versa at the same time?

No, I had music loaded on my first Versa and then never bothered when they sent me the second one
