I've had my versa since May, and the battery life was never great. At best, I can get about two and half days out of the watch (with notifications and everything off except for tracking), but when I woke up this morning, it was completely dead (despite it being around 50% when I went to sleep).
Today I charged it up too 100% at around 9am this morning, and it's now about 11:30am, and my battery is already at 40%. At this rate, it won't even last all day until I'm home tonight (at around 10pm)!
I don't know what to do or who to contact! Help would be appreciated!
Best AnswerI'm having the exact same issue. I placed in charging station for the entire day yesterday and when I went up last night it was only at 76 percent. When I woke up it was at 6%. So I charged this morning before work and I just got a low battery notification. I'm using the same outlet, adapter, etc., that I've been using since May. I also did a restart this morning which has clearly not made a difference.
Best AnswerI have had three FitBit devices before receiving the Versa as a Mother's Day gift. My kids said "why would you get a Versa when you could get an Apple Watch?" I told them - "why wouldn't I since I've had such great luck." Perhaps I should have listened to them. In all honesty my Versa has been functioning fine - I've really liked it - until the past 4 days. I had gotten low battery notifications so I charge and after a full day it was only at 76%. I wore to bed and awoke to find the device at 6% - barely made it through my morning exercise. I charged again before I went to work - only to have the device die halfway through the day. I read the forums to try and figure out what might be happening. Made all the adjustments - including wrapping a rubber band round the charger/device to assure a better charge? Seriously. Awoke again this morning to a nearly dead device. It's just terribly disappointing to spend $200+ on a device and after two months to not have it function properly. Here is the kicker - I loved my Versa so much we got my husband one for Father's Day. I'm past my 45 days and no, I didn't do the warranty - silly me. I'd love a full refund - for both devices - since I'm guessing my husband's device will suffer the same fate. I know you may send me a new charger - have seen that on the forums - or a new device - but I've truly lost my once strong faith in FitBit and your products.
Best Answeryeah join the club. Mine was rebooting on its own.... Mine as well wait to Sept for the Iwatch series 4 lol ..... I am getting my versa replaced... but with all I have read ... I pretty much am not confident it wont happen again.
Best AnswerAdding on to my post from yesterday....my Versa was nearly dead when I arrived home. I was heading out with friends, so I decided to leave it at home charging. I wanted a full battery for today's exercise. I did not wear it to bed like I usually do. Left it in the charger. It was at 99% when I went to bed. Guess what? When I woke today it was at 46% - so it seriously lost battery while sitting in the charger????? I'm kind of at my wits end. Would love to hear from someone at FitBit with some solutions.
Best AnswerSo from what I understand - All Versas bought from a legitimate dealer in the US, should still be under warranty. Call FitBit Support, they will walk you through troubleshooting and replace it if it is bad. Do it!
