Battery life draining FAST

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my versa since May, and the battery life was never great. At best, I can get about two and half days out of the watch (with notifications and everything off except for tracking), but when I woke up this morning, it was completely dead (despite it being around 50% when I went to sleep).

Today I charged it up too 100% at around 9am this morning, and it's now about 11:30am, and my battery is already at 40%. At this rate, it won't even last all day until I'm home tonight (at around 10pm)!

I don't know what to do or who to contact! Help would be appreciated!

I'm having the exact same issue. I placed in charging station for the entire day yesterday and when I went up last night it was only at 76 percent. When I woke up it was at 6%. So I charged this morning before work and I just got a low battery notification. I'm using the same outlet, adapter, etc., that I've been using since May. I also did a restart this morning which has clearly not made a difference.

I have had three FitBit devices before receiving the Versa as a Mother's Day gift. My kids said "why would you get a Versa when you could get an Apple Watch?" I told them - "why wouldn't I since I've had such great luck." Perhaps I should have listened to them. In all honesty my Versa has been functioning fine - I've really liked it - until the past 4 days. I had gotten low battery notifications so I charge and after a full day it was only at 76%. I wore to bed and awoke to find the device at 6% - barely made it through my morning exercise. I charged again before I went to work - only to have the device die halfway through the day. I read the forums to try and figure out what might be happening. Made all the adjustments - including wrapping a rubber band round the charger/device to assure a better charge? Seriously. Awoke again this morning to a nearly dead device. It's just terribly disappointing to spend $200+ on a device and after two months to not have it function properly. Here is the kicker - I loved my Versa so much we got my husband one for Father's Day. I'm past my 45 days and no, I didn't do the warranty - silly me. I'd love a full refund - for both devices - since I'm guessing my husband's device will suffer the same fate. I know you may send me a new charger - have seen that on the forums - or a new device - but I've truly lost my once strong faith in FitBit and your products.

Adding on to my post from yesterday....my Versa was nearly dead when I arrived home. I was heading out with friends, so I decided to leave it at home charging. I wanted a full battery for today's exercise. I did not wear it to bed like I usually do. Left it in the charger. It was at 99% when I went to bed. Guess what? When I woke today it was at 46% - so it seriously lost battery while sitting in the charger????? I'm kind of at my wits end. Would love to hear from someone at FitBit with some solutions.

So from what I understand - All Versas bought from a legitimate dealer in the US, should still be under warranty. Call FitBit Support, they will walk you through troubleshooting and replace it if it is bad. Do it!
