Bitmoji clockface not working

I'm sitting here with a brand new Versa Lite bought to replace my Blaze which stopped syncing. The Bitmoji ads all over the Fitbit website was one of the reasons I chose this watch and now it's stuck on "preparing to teleport" on the app with a spinning wheel on the watch for more than half an hour now. According to the forums, a patch was put out over the summer that was supposed to fix everything but apparently it didn't. How do I get the latest patch and will it fix this thing because otherwise, I think I may send this thing back and buy a Garmin. It's too expensive for it to not work the way the marketing/website promised.

I'd reset and do the new update, and try again. I had a few teething issues with Bitmoji too, but after a reset it helped
