Black Screen

Hi,

I'm sure this is on here already, however the search function isn't working, so apologies if I'm asking a common question.

Tonight my Fitbit Versa stopped showing anything on the screen except black.  It appears to connect still on the app, and it's tracking my movement too.  Just nothing on the screen (you can see it lights up black but that's it).

I've tried holding all buttons in various combinations but nothing to get it back.

Any suggestions please?  Thanks

"Holding all of the buttons in various combinations" won't get it.  Do a Restart the proper way and do it several times.

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried what the guide says but nothing happens unfortunately.  Their next steps if that doesn't work is to switch it off via the screen, which I can't do.

I've logged a support case now so hopefully they will come back to me.  Luckily I have my old Charge HR so I'm not losing daily steps 🙂

This is the same issue I am having with mine.

Screen is black, vibrates and lights up, also keeping track of steps and movement. I have tried everything recommended to no avail.

I did the 3 button reset it but now I have to set it up but I can't
because I can't see the number on the screen so i am stuck.

I’m having the same problem but intermittent.  Sometimes the clock face works and sometimes it’s the black screen and then I have to do a hard reset to get it back.  Have tried switching to a Fitbit watch face instead of my usual one (which worked fine for nearly a year).  Very frustrating!
