Black screen. Versa 2 steps and info still tracking via the Fitbit app but watch face is black. Alarm went off this morning also. Tried resetting. Installed new update via the app successfully. Tried all the tricks, watched a thousand videos, but can't get screen to wake up. More frustrated trying to find help than I am with the black screen. Help links are broken and I keep getting directed to Twitter. I mean, WHYYYY? Please advise.

Okay, first thing is to make sure its charging, after 30 minutes try starting it.

Press and hold button for up to 10 seconds until you feel a vibrate or the logo appears.

Also detect if the button does do click ok.

In the phone Fitbit App

pull down refresh and see if it syncs

and

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Sync -

See when last synced

Try refresh by touching circle

it should say "a moment ago"

These steps will allow you to tell whats not working from

1 The button doesn't work - no click, button fault

2. No vibrate - its not charged or starting

3. Vibrate but no screen - charged but no screen

4. Syncs - its working and on but the screen is dead

5 Syncs - the App will tell you the charge.

Syching in app. Tracking steps in app. Battery fully charged in app.
Refresh successful in app. Watch vibrates when button is pushed. Pressed
button for up to a minute but doesn't restart. Screen still black. See
images attached.

With those symptoms your screen is broken and the watch is on.

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you to replace it.

You can still use it for tracking things in the App but nothing will show on the broken screen.

Of course not solved, you need to replace the broken watch.

If you got it from a shop take it back under warranty, or contact support.
