Blinking Logo after factory reset

We had to perform a factory reset on my fit bit versa (it kept receiving text messages from the wrong phone even though it was deleted from that phone) and after the reset now all I see on the screen is the blinking logo that says "to start, download the fit bit app" and I can't do anything else. When I log into the app on my computer it doesn't recognize the Versa and says it can't find it. One of the suggestion on the board was to unpair any Bluetooth devises but I can't even access any functions with the watch. All I see is the logo blinking with the "to start, download the fit bit app" in different languages rotating on the screen. HELP!

What phone are you using?  Unpair any other bluetooth devices from your phone and remove any bluetooth devices you cant turn off out of bluetooth range.

The versa cant receive notifications from a phone if you go to the phones bluetooth settings and and unpair it. (Removing it in the app only wont do it). So make sure you have done that as the bluetooth pairing to the other phone is very possibly preventing pairing with another phone for set up.

Thanks for the help on unpairing - I did that. Now, what do I do about not being able to access anything on the Fitbit after the factory re-set. I just have a blinking logo.
