Dear all,
I have had my Versa 3 for over a year and it has never synced properly with my phones. First had a Xiaomi 8 pro, now a Xiaomi 11T Pro, same Versa 3.
When I sync, it takes around 25 minutes and 3 attempts each time. I thought the last phone was the issue so was happy to upgrade and see if it worked. Nothing has changed. I have unpaired the versa 3 several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, re-paired and resynched the Versa 3. I have read countless forums and followed any steps I could find. I have tried to connect the watch to my WiFi and it won't stay connected for longer than 3-4 seconds.
The last straw is the recent hardware update, I just can't do it. So one last attempt at unpairing the Versa 3 from the phone and now, after several attempts, I can't even re-pair the watch to my phone (the 11T pro). I have the latest version of Android.
What do I do now ? I have turned off Bluetooth, turned it back on, turned off the watch, turned it back on, attempted to pair 5 times already today. All I get is a message asking me to contact customer service. Which apparently is this forum ?
In a nutshell, does the Versa 3 work with Xiaomi at all or have I wasted several hundreds of € on this one ?
Many thanks for any help or advice 🙇:female_sign:

Hi @Kavana26 - the watch is designed not to stay connected to wifi if it is not needed as it uses too much battery.
Sometimes a logout and phone restart is necessary and make sure that the old phone is not on, or any other Bluetooth devices, as the watch can only connect to one device and it may be trying to connect with the wrong device.
If by any chance you are on Android 13 try reinstalling the Fitbit App and granting all permissions. There are also some settings you will have to make again, such as Notifications.
Otherwise try chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

Hi @Guy_ ,
Thanks for the response.
A reinstallation of the application and a factory reset of the watch allowed me to re-pair the watch with the phone and install the HW update. Unfortunately, the syncing still takes a long time and the phone to watch notifications don't work (incoming calls, etc.).
No chance that the watch is looking for the old phone, it is off and in a box in storage. So I think that the watch itself has had connectivity issues from the start. Too bad I guess.
Many thanks for your help.

@Kavana26- thanks for the feedback - given that you were able to reinstall the watch after a factory reset without an issue suggest that any problem is with the phone or phone settings. Try chatting with support they may have more information for your phone and it's OS. Xiaomi do have some special considerations.
