I can't get my Versa to pick up blue tooth connection.   It did on Christmas night for about 15 minutes.   Now it won't connect at all. Instructions are horrible  Anyone know how to do this.  My phone shows the Versa but the watch doesn't read back to the phone.

@Ash_Lin24 at this point it would be good to reach out to Customer Support, indeed. They're really good. I definitely can say Versa works with iPhone 7... Even better than my Droid. Ughhhh 🙄 Good luck!

@Spiritfilled285 What's your phone model and OS? For now try this:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and sync.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.

iPhone 7 iOS 12.1.2 I’m not sure what the firmware version is, it’s brand new.

@Ash_Lin24 I sync my Versa with iPhone 7 as well. Before I recommend factory reset, do you have any other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone? If yes, remove them from your phone's Bluetooth settings and try following the above-mentioned procedure again.

@Ash_Lin24 in that case try restoring Versa to factory defaults (performing a factory reset). This will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from the Fitbit account (in the Fitbit mobile app) and your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. At this point, reboot your phone as well. Once Versa resets to factory defaults (shows setup screen), you will need to set it up again by adding it as a new device in the Fitbit mobile app. Good luck!

Thanks for your help. It paired without issues yesterday so I waited on the factory reset. Today it’s constantly looking, attempting, looking etc. So I did the factory reset but it’s unable to complete because it cannot find the WiFi, after pairing with the device for 15 minutes. It was successfully connected to the same router yesterday. Even when I set it up the very first time it took over an hour, not the 30 minutes that it says it would, and even then it took many, many attempts for it to find and connect to WiFi. I’ve done every troubleshooting option over the past 5 days since I took it out of the box. Going to exchange for a new Versa and hope it works better than this one. I did a lot of research on fitness trackers and found this one to be the best fit for me. Still confident in the Versa and the Fitbit brand, fingers crossed I just got a dud and that the next Versa will work properly. Thanks again for your suggestions.

I have tried this many times. I get to the point where it gives me a pin and then it says it won't pair. Then go through the steps again. It only worked one full month of having it out of five months of ownership so far. Very disappointing birthday present.
