Brand new versa 2 battery draining quickly

I bought a new versa 2 just afew days ago and the battery is draining so quickly, I know it’s supposed to last around 6 days but it’s barely lasting 1 day. Just today I finally charged it and after two hours it was already down to 70%. I’ve already tried the advice I’ve seen on the forums, but quite frankly I find it very annoying that I’ve essentially got to get rid of most things on the device in attempt to stop the battery draining, and even after trying all that, the battery is still draining so I don’t really know what else to do

Hi, it appears it is the most recent update. My Versa 2 was working perfectly before, now I have a similar battery issue. I’m hoping they role the upgrade back.

Definitely not usual behaviour. I have two Versa 2’s, one 3+ years old and one 1 month old. The 3-year old ones battery lasts 3-4 days and the 1 month old one lasts 6-7 days, all with daily exercise classes and occasional GPS usage. Both are running the latest watch firmware. I remember I once tried a clock face that drained the battery within 24 hours. When I removed it and used a Fitbit clock, everything was back to normal.

There is something draining it excessively, the trick is figuring out what. One thing to consider trying is removing it from your Fitbit app, doing a watch factory reset, then re-pairing it with the app. If all is well then you can start changing things one at a time. If not, then it must be the watch or software itself, and you should do a replacement or return with Fitbit support.
