Brand new versa 2 help!

My husband just bought me the Versa 2. I went through the whole start up with no issues.

The screen will not turn on at all. 

I know it's tracking, but no screen. I tried holding down button on side to restart, but all it does is vibrate. 

Is this defective or any suggestions? Thank you!

I think I would take it back to the place of purchase for an exchange.. 

Or contact Fitbit. Link found in the top right slide out menu.
