Bug Wifi password

Hi

Running Fitbit app on Android 10 Dec patch on a Samsung S10e and found the following issue:

You can enter a password for your Wifi network that is 63 characters long bit that is not possible to use (apply) unless you delete one character (eg 62 left).

To be clear, it is possible to enter 63 characters but apply is greyed out.

I'd appreciate if that could be fixed and 63 character long passwords possible to use.

Thank you

Anders

Hi @74AJ , just a question: why would you want to have a password for your WiFi netowrk that is 63 characters long? Why not change it to a more, yet very safe, smaller password? In this case you can use your Wifi connection with your Versa. Regards kuzibri

That would be the easy way out here. Two things that makes me having an issue with that.

- Lowering the security on the network is not possible for various reasons not to be discussed here. I am well versed in IT-security and this is not a knee-jerk decision.

- Still it is a bug as you can enter a password with a length of >62 characters but it is not possible to apply.

Two solutions to the second point, either limit the input field in the app (thus stopping me from being able to utilize wifi) or allow passwords with >62 characters.

Either way you cut it, it is a bug in the app. If the OS in the tracker is affected by this issue (that is, the the OS cannot use passwords >62 char's), I can't tell - it may be affected.

Anyone from Fitbit with input?
