Today, I received my Versa 2 in the mail. it was suppose to be an introductory smart watch to let me decide if I want a better one later. the jury is still out on it...
I have discovered that if I want to play music via Spotify, It merely controls my phone, the whole point of the smart watch for me was to be able to run without my phone so that's annoying, but anyway I went to plan B, upload some mp3 songs to listen to music from it. I was directed to find the Fitbit Connect App for windows, which has now apparently been discontinued. I now have a rather expensive brick that does not do what I want. Fitbit removing the desktop app, essentially removing functionality for users, is pathetic and rude, especially when all the help pages direct you to it, only to find no download link for it. I was kindly offered a 3 month Deezer subscription by support, which I declined. Is it simply too much to ask to upload the music I own already to the device I own?
Would not be shocked to see if fitness tracking gets removed as well when they try to upsell you to a more expensive device.
Poor form Fitbit. 0/10 stars

Hello @bearrr and welcome to the Community. Yes, Pandora is available for the Versa 2. If I remember correctly, it's preloaded on the device.

Hi there @bearrr. Welcome to Community Forums. @LZeeW thanks for the help.
I appreciate you reach out to the Community for help. Yes, the Pandora app is available on Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series (except Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 4), you can download your most-played Pandora stations or popular curated Workout stations directly to your watch.
I'd recommend you check these articles, How do I listen to Pandora stations on my Fitbit watch? and How do I listen to music and podcast on my Fitbit watch?.
Hope this helps.

Hi Cammoritch, I'm in the same situation. My Versa2 is not even 2 years old, and works very well but I'm now stuck with playlists I've loaded on it when I first set my Versa2 up. I'm tired of listening to the same playlists, and wanted to purge them and load some fresh ones (my mp3 library is on my Windows desktop), only to discover the Fitbit dodos took my ability to do so away. How nice of them (NOT!!!).
They suggest Deezer or Pandora. No, thank you, I do not want these things on my device, which is the very reason I turfed them at setup. I'd rather have more room for playlists, MY playlists, from MY desktop.
I gave the competition a go, twice, and both times loading one's own music/playlists onto the devices was cumbersome, and I can honestly say I was unable to load more than two VERY small (5 to 7 average sized 128 bitrate mp3s) playlists into the device(s), so they were promptly returned, and I won't be buying that G-thing again. Now that I'm not able to fully enjoy my otherwise working very well Versa2, I most likely will not buy another Fitbit product either.
