Hi @Mrengst, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you with this, can you please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing? The clock face of your Versa Lite freezes and you're unable to use your device at all? Swipe is unresponsive unless you restart your device? More information will be appreciated so we can move forward with this.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have similar problem I can't swip the face to see my app ?

Is this a common problem with the product?

Not happy with it!

If I can't fix it I don't think I will purchase again!!

Welcome to the Community Forums @Elamel05, sorry for the delayed reply.

If you're unable to swipe the display of your Versa, please follow the next steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. For Fitbit Versa, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Looking forward to your reply if further assistance is needed.

Your update is appreciated @Mrengst, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Since the restart process didn't resolve your display issue, please follow the next steps to factory reset your device:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Keep me posted.

So what do you do if you have restarted it numerous times and it still doesn't fix the problem? If the swipe doesn't work, there's no way to access the settings to turn the watch off and on again.

Welcome aboard @Melmac721, sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for your post and for restarting your device several times, I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. Can you please let me know if you already tried the factory reset procedure that was shared on my previous post?

I'll be here if you need anything else.

I am having the same trouble, have tried resetting and have to rest multiple time a day.

Is there a new firmware update coming for bug fixes? It has only been an issue since the last update.

I have the Versa 2, but now only see the main screen and at times today that wouldn't appear.  Swiping does nothing, it use to work?

I did try the factory reset that I had found while browsing through previous messages. Still nothing. I even let the battery die completely. hoping that would solve the issue, nothing.

Thanks for responding. I haven't been on my desk top for over a week so I didn't see your messages.

I have tried all of the above and nothing, I have to reset every time I want to access my Fitbit for anything other than the time.

There is only one left button on the VERSA 2 but your directions for a factor reset talk about other buttons?  How do I do a factory rest on a Versa 2?  Also will this actually solve my issue?

Do you have a Versa 2?  MyVersa 2 is new I got it in December.  The swipe worked for a month or so but not any more.  I mostly miss seeing a recent text in full, that I wasn't able to review the moment it came in.
