Ok I've seen this issue before but I can't find a solution for mine. I've tried all of the generic responses. The soft reset (shut down fit bit and then hold power button for 10 sec), I've even done a factory reset, synced my fit bit. Heck I even tried the trouble shooting guide and it never worked. So if I get any generic fit bit responses, I'm not trying those solutions because I've done it many times over and it still doesn't work. I got it to work completely out of fluke, by swiping along the weather app and somehow that got the pull down notifications to work but it randomly stopped working since. This watch is brand new and I got it on christmas. Hasn't been dropped either.
Also, does anyone know what texting apps are compatible with fit bit? I can't reply to any messages using my versa 3 (I use the chomp messaging app).

Hi @Dawnie0 try the chat option, as it's said to be faster. https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US and tell support all the steps you've taken to get this going.

I've had this same problem, I got the versa 3 for Christmas I spent ages trying to get the notifications to work doing all the resets and re installing then it suddenly started working! Brilliant loved the watch for 2 days did everything I wanted it to love I could record a reply to message! Then this morning it's just stopped again! I can get calls but no messages. It's so frustrating because I'm doing everything right!! If you figure it out please share.

Already checked and they're both off.. I've done all the basic troubleshoot options. Nothing's worked.

I don't know if it works for all phones (I have a huawei) but I found a thread with advice that worked for me. Go into the settings and switch the app from an atomic launch to manual, then select all the launch options manually. Mine has been fine for the past 2 days after doing this.

How do you do that? Or how did you for your phone? My OS is Android but I don't see that option in the settings of the app itself.

I went into my phone settings,
Select apps
Select app launch
Turn off automatic launch
Manually select all launch options
Re sync the watch
Hopefully this helps I'm not the most technical person but it worked for me.

This has just sorted mine out! I have a huawei too and my notifications havnt worked in ages so thank you!!

My phone doesn't have the same options for launch like yours does but for now the notifications are working. We'll see if the watch acts oit again. Thanks everyone for the help!
