Can't ever get started!

Huawei nova plus 6.0 o/s should be compatible. Paired ok. Uploaded Fitbit app. Created new Gmail account to start clean .Went through set up and it fails ..it goes through 1/3 ..then 2/3...then it fails. Watch has been sitting on charger..now fully charged..yet I can even get it to show a clock. It just shows Fitbit blue logo...no time. It still shows "to get started download Fitbit app"!!! That's done. So frustrating...and it's showing it in Chinese..and enlgihs..but it won't even kick the watch I into watch mode. I have pushed down two buttons together to hard re start..and nope..just Fitbit logo. I give up.

I don't see your phone  on the list of Approved Devices.

Thanks yes I saw that ..I just can't get Fitbit to come right out and tell
me it's not supported. I'm returning the device to the store tomorrow..

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Emmi64! I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues setting up your Versa. I appreciate all the details you provided and all the efforts that you made. In fact your mobile device is not compatible with the Fitbit app. To use this application your phone must have at least the following operation systems: Apple iOS 10 and higher, Android OS 5.0 and higher, or Windows 10 v1607 or higher. Please note that a non compatible phone can sync, or sent notifications but we cannot guarantee its stability. 

 

You can always try to follow the steps on the articles: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? or alternatively, you can use the Fitbit app for Windows 10 on your computer, or use Fitbit Connect to sync with a Mac or Windows 8.1 computer to access your data and take advantage of the many features of your Fitbit device. Here you can see witch devices are compatible.
