Can't install SPO2 clock face on Versa 2

I am unable to download the SPO2 Clock Face. My Fitbit (purchased today) says it is up to date. My Fitbit app was installed today as well. When I reach the clock face screen, there is a pink message box saying to be sure the Fitbit has the latest update. This is one of the main features I really wanted in purchasing this device. I've read through all the articles, and no help. Reading through all the reviews, it appears this feature should be available to me in the US.

Hi, thanks for the response. I tried all of the solutions mentioned, but
nothing worked. I could see the clock in the gallery, but the install link
was disabled. This morning, I received notification in the Fitbit app that
a new update was available (2nd since opening new Versa 2). I ran the
update, and was then able to install the new clock face. Looking forward
now to use a feature I based part of my purchase on.

I am having the same problem on my newly purchased Versa 2.   I tried the proposed solution and it still does not work.    Is the only solution to wait until Fitbit decides to send me an update?

Hi. Yes, when I purchased the Versa 2, the only apparent solution was to
wait for the update notice to appear in my Fitbit app. The clock face
appeared in the gallery, but the install button was inactive until the
update is installed. I believe it was 2-3 days after purchasing that it
came through for me, (even though It also ran an update right after turning
it on the first time). Good luck!

I'm having the same problem and tried all of the solutions to no avail. I presume one day I'll get an update, do you have any idea of how long that will take or when I should expect it?  Is it a couple days, week or ? That function was primary reason I got the Fitbit versus the Apple Watch, which I may need to reconsider.

Best Answer

@JonBH It's been posted by mods that it's typically 48-72 hours.

Thanks!!! Was looking to get some idea of how often I should check it. Appreciate the reply!

I too was told to wait to be prompted for the update, even though FitBit said versa 2 was successfully updated.

I had the same problem.   About 2-3 days after I started using the Versa, fitbit sent me a firmware update.   That gave me the SpO2 clockface.

cool, thanks... hopefully i get that update too.

From the other responses, it seems getting an update on the fitbit is required. Can't the programmers add a function to force the fitbit to the correct version for the spo2 clock face?

Same thing as OP. After a firmware update, the SPo2 clock face installed.  Thanks

@gustiyudha89 Hi. There is no solution but waiting. It's been said the watch downloads bits of the new firmware every time you sync, and should complete in a couple days.

I too have this issue. I’ve had my device for 4 days now and have had no update notification. As the other users have said, I can not download the Sp02 clock face as it is grayed out. My current device is a Versa2 and the current firmware is 35.70.7.14. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. I bought this device for that feature. Thank you.
