My Versa would not sync this morning. Restarted my phone, the Versa and Bluetooth and nothing helped. So I decided to uninstall the app and delete the Versa from the app. Well, not I cannot get the Versa to re-connect. It says device is found but it will not connect!

It's great to see you around @LauraJean13.
Thanks for troubleshooting by yourself the syncing issue you were experiencing and would like to know if you keep having trouble pairing your watch? If you do, I recommend restarting it and make sure you are doing the following from the Fitbit app:
Let me know the outcome.

I was having this issue as well, the reason I was trying to re add my Versa is that it does not sync with my App on iPhone, does not update or connect to WiFi and this has been a constant issue since I got it (keep putting my Blaze back on) .. So after much frustration I called Fitbit and we tried all that I had and then they had me so a factory reset on my Versa, you can find that under settings on the watch. This solved the problem for about 18 hours and I'm back to no syncing etc. So I removed it from the Fitbit up like you did and cannot re add .. Again. I'm getting so frustrated! I will likely return this if a solution is not found that lasts more than a day.

Hey @grenner, great to see you here.
I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this by yourself and would like to know if you keep having issues setting up your Versa? Have you tried the instructions I provided here? Have you tried to do the setup procedure from another device?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Had the same issue, went into my phones Bluetooth settings and it still had the Versa showing there. It appears that when you unpair via the app it forgets to unpair the phone as well..🤔 I clicked on the Versa in my Bluetooth settings and chose "forget", then tried pairing via the Fitbit app again and it worked first time.

Thanks for your response , I had tried and re tried all you instructed and no help but I did the update that came last week and it worked and stayed connected for 5 days ! I thought it was fixed and now it doesn’t connect again or sync so I disconnected it from the app and off of my Bluetooth and went to reset up and it is doing the same and I can set up and put in the 4 digit code and then it sits in connecting to fit bit for ever .. and I tried this several times and now I’m back to where the issues started weeks ago . I’m gonna try the factory reset agai which sometimes works but I should not have to do that all the time . Please advise .

I am having this same issue. It didn't sync for several days. I tried resetting the phone, watch, bluetooth, etc, with no change. I removed the device and cannot add it back. When I try, it says that it found the Versa, but is stuck when trying to connect to the Versa. Please help me get back to using this device.

I am having the same issue AND my fitbit stopped keeping accurate time after trying soft reset and a factory reset. Example: It is 9:16 AM and my fitbit is showing it is 6:14 PM! I cannot get it to sync..have followed everyones instructions. I went to exchange it at the store where I bought it since it is defective and the store has a 30 day return policy. Reverted me back to fitbit. What to do to resolve this asap?

I'm having the same issue. It starter when my V2 wouldn't sync. So I restarted my phone and turned the bluetooth off then on. No joy. Then I shut down the V2 and repeated the action with my phone, restarted, & bluetooth... Still no luck. So I cleared the cache and data on the Fitbit app and repeated the other steps. Nope. Only now I couldn't get the device set up to go beyond the 4 digit code. The app gave me a not working and steps. Followed steps and same result. So I then did a factory reset on on my V2. No luck.

Hi @LauraJean13 , try the following:
1. Within your Fitbit app, unpair and remove your Versa from the Fitbit app.
2. Logour of your Fitbit app, delete it and restart your mobile device.
3. Reinstall the Fitbit about without enabling BT or when automaticaly started, disable it.
4, Put your Versa in the charger abd connect it to your PC. Make sure that all other BT devices in the vicinity of your Versa - Mobile Device and router are disabled.
5. Since your Versa is not syncing at all to can comsider to do a Factory Reset (settings- Device Info - Factory reset), but it's not necessary and you will loose data.
6. Go to your Fitbit app and login again,
7. Press add Device and choose Versa. Fitbit will ask you to replace the existing one and press yes.
8. Since BT is off, Fitbit will start searching for your Versa and after a while it asks you to enable BT by Fitbit, press yes.
9. Fitbit is going th search for your Versa and after a while, can take some time, your Versa will show a four digit code.
10. Enter that Code in the Fitbit app and it will start connecting to your Versa.
11. Once found, it will say connected with the green connected icon,
12 Follow the further instructions on the screen of your Fitbit app.
13. Install directly your WiFi settings, cause this is much faster than via BT.
14. Follow all the other steps shown in your Fitbit app and you should be running and up again.
Good luck and regards, kuzibri
