I purchased a Versa Lite to replace my Versa 2. When I tried to add it, it looked like the process was working, but then I got a message that the update didn't work. It didn't allow me to retry. I could see the device listed in the app and it said Update Required. However, there was no where for me to update it. So I uninstalled the device and am trying to add it again. Now it won't even read the device even though I literally have it sitting on top of my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned my Bluetooth off and on, and resetting the device. Nothing is working.
I had previously purchased a refurbished Versa 2 and had this same thing happen. I thought it was the device and returned it and bought the Lite. Now I'm beginning to think it's just Fitbit. I've owned Fitbits for years and have never had this happen.
