Cannot get Versa to connect to Fitbit app

I have just got a new Fitbit Versa and it’s not connecting to the app. I have followed all the instructions and upon putting the 4 digit no in the app it stays stuck on connecting to Fitbit. I have tried all the things including deleting and reinstall the app, turning the Bluetooth off and back on and also resetting the tracker. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked that your phone is supported by fitbit at www.fitbit.com/devices ?

 

Setup problems can sometimes happen if there are other bluetooth devices around at the time it is trying to connect. If you can, disable other bluetooth devices.

I’m also having this issue. The number comes up and I can type it in, but then it just says “connecting” and nothing happens. I have an iPhone 6.
