Versa feedback

This thing is a pain to set up, it doesn’t hold a charge. It is always asking me to reconnect to my wifi and Bluetooth.

Its frustrating because I love my fitbits from the past, but this new one has so many issues.

Seriously thinking of sending it back

The wifi/Bluetooth issues could be to do with device compatibility etc, but not holding charge seems worrisome. Based on that alone, I would suggest sending it back and exchanging it. It's possible you got unlucky with a faulty device.

Agreed. The Versa is highly inaccurate with pulse (compared to my charge2) and doesnt sync. I have had no battery issues, but the sync issue is irritating. Also being forced to use deezer to play music is awful.

Hello @MissKnicely and @harlokkin, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you around too @GenieFishSmiley Happy

We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. @harlokkin, it's possible that because your Versa is not syncing correctly and it's disconnecting from WiFi, this is affecting the battery on your Versa. Would it be possible for you to send me screenshots of the messages you're receiving? Additionally, please let me know what are you currently doing when you get the messages. Are you trying to sync? Are you transferring music to your Versa or installing an app or a clock-face? This will be very helpful for me to determine which troubleshooting steps should we take next.

@MissKnicely, when it comes to the heart rate accuracy, is the heart rate too high or too low? Have you restarted your Versa already by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen? Additionally, if you're having trouble syncing, I would like to suggest you to try the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

Finally, please note that you can also transfer your personal music to the Versa in case you don't want to use the Deezer app. Additionally, I would like to point out that there's currently a suggested idea by @erinleigh417 to implement an app for Spotify in the Versa. Please feel free to add your comment and vote, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
