Cannot log weight from watch?

I enter my weight on my watch and get a confirmation screen but since the beginning of August that weight is not logged to my watch history or the app. I called support today and was told logging weight on the watch is not (or is no longer) a Versa feature and find that very hard to believe. 

I've already done a watch restart and found that entering the weight in the app will sync to the watch but the benefit was in logging the weight from the watch, not the phone. If this is true, when will weight logging on the watch return????

They told you the truth. A real X-Files moment right there.

 

Last update (as I understand it being April) a lot of app & configuration features were removed with zero consultations or advisories being given to us the 'mere' end users.  You know, the ones that keep FitBit in business.  The fee paying but long suffering end user.

Wow. Guess I should have expected that in this pay-as-you-go society though sure feels like we should be getting a rebate on what we bought an no longer have.

 

Thanks a lot for confirming so I can quit wasting time on the troubleshooting.
