Cannot receive text notifications, Versa2

Good morning - I repeatedly don't receive text messages from my iPhone to my Versa. When I go into the Fitbit app to check on this, the NOTIFICATIONS is not able to be clicked. I repeatedly click on it, and it will NOT let me go to the next page to make sure TEXTS is selected. Otherwise, it'll simply spin. Randomly, I don't receive phone calls or other app notifications as well, but the one contact is text messages. This has been going on for a couple months now, but it's really picked up in frequency and so hence I'm finally looking for help, because I cannot figure it out. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you!
