Cannot set up pre-owned Versa Lite

Purchased a pre-owned fitbit versa light. When i first got it just couldn't get it to sync with app so did some research and found that it needed to be reset by holding down the botton on side. I proceed and did that. Now it is stuck on the fitbit screen and won't do anything. I seen online to try holding button down for 3 min did that, with no change please help me out here and get this working correctly. 🥹

Hi @CTrox  the Versa Lite was released 2019 and discontinued after all of them were gone. By 2022, there were no more updates to that device. More than likely it's not going to snap back for you, especially since the battery isn't replaceable. Not sure where you found anyone saying to hold the button for three minutes to do a restart.

Here is a quote from a Fitbit Moderator who was helping someone with a similar problem. See if any of this gets you going.

  • Remove your Versa Lite from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa Lite again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa Lite.
