Cannot set up versa on computer

I have a Fitbit Charge HR which is set up on my home computer. I've just bought a Fitbit Versa but when I try to set it up on the computer it says 'set up only on mobile devices'. Is this right? I don't have any mobile devices so maybe the Versa will have to go back!

Yes, I think you can only set it up on a smart phone or tablet.

Do you have Microsoft WIndows?  There is a Fitbit app in the store.  I actually had to download it because FitBit Support couldnt get my phone to recognize it. (before i shhipped it back)  And you can set it up threw that.  And then attach it to your phone app.  Not that I would suggest it.  but there is a way to set it up threw Windows.

It's really abused, not being able to synchronize music on it when it's a selling point, it's unacceptable! Now i know what is fitbit

and sorry but is not a solved question, i download this application and impossible to select versa, idem on the smartphone, impossible to transfer music.

oy!  Now I did and it was there on.....  So I am sorry.  Yeah I mean I am disappointed too.  mine was rebooting and now who knows how long I have to wait for a replacement.
