Cannot transfer music to Versa

We have read everything and tried everything and are about ready to take this back to the store. No music will transfer. We tried from CDs and current playlists. You cannot drag and drop, only browse and nothing will transfer. The music feature was one reason I went this route. Very frustrated

@Amyford  So long as you are trying to move music that you have purchased (and it sounds like you are) it should work.  I don't use the Drag and Drop feature.  That always messes me up.  Instead, I go into iTunes on my computer and create a playlist that I plan to transfer.  Smaller (like one album or one artist with a few albums) work best.  Everything you want to transfer needs to currently reside physically on your computer.  You can't pull from a cloud or sharing arrangement.  Then, when you are getting ready to transfer the music using the Fitbit Connect app (Mac and Windows 8.1) or Fitbit app (Windows 10) you can just select the playlist.

Drag and drop isn’t even an option. It won’t even let us put the songs on
the playlist.

I can't even attempt it.I have 3 tablets and a crappy old Toshiba computer that does not have windows 10 on it. The music feature is useless to me, though I would love to be able to use it. They  did not make putting music on user friendly. People use phones and tablets now.

I was having the same issue. I would start the transfer and it would say preparing to transfer and estimating the time needed and then it would time out, saying that my Versa had disconnected. I'm not sure if this solved it, but in the music settings, I changed to "Use Manual IP Address". Turned it on and left the IP address the default. I started the transfer again. It said the transfer would take more than an hour. I LEFT IT ALONE. When I came back, it had still timed out, told me that my watch had disconnected and not all the songs had transferred. But when I looked at the watch, they HAD all transferred. I believe this is a bug in the application, but it still worked.

I am also trying to transfer music from my mac air and it says the versa can only be used via mobile app.  Has anyone else had that issue?
