Cardioload for swim workaround

  • For swimmers out there like me who have been frustrated with lack of cardio feedback available after a vigorous swim workout (cardioload reads 0 after hard 45 minute swim) I found a trick that works well. I select "workout" instead of "swim" then cover my watch with a soft silicon wristband. This holds it securely against my wrist (along with tightening my watchband during workout) and gives a little extra water protection. Versa 2 does not have a water lock feature that other fitbits have but is rated IP68 and are "designed to be swimproof and stand up to the sweatiest of workouts". So I skip selecting swim for my workout. I manually add my yards after. I love seeing the cardio feedback

@KelvinLev   Nice workaround.  I’m writing just to clarify one thing.  The water lock’s purpose is to prevent water from activating the screen.  It doesn’t change water resistance.  This is a common misconception.
