The new Pixel 3a is not under the list of compatible devices. Is Fitbit working on its compatibility with pixel 3a? I'm planning to buy it very soon.

Hi, if you want to know when you future device will be supported by Fitbit (not being on/in the list does not means that it's not supported but not yet tested by the engineers), keep a close look at these two sites:
1. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=compatible&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1. Scroll down to Abdroid Devices, press it and search for your device
2. www.fitbit.com/devices .Write the name of the device in the search bar and a list of devices of your brand will be shown.

I am curious about this as well.
I want to switch from iPhone to a Google Pixel 3a but I want to make sure that my fitbit Versa will work with it first.

My Google 3a will give me notices and all the information on the Fitbit site but I do not receive my text or phone call info on my fit bit.

Welcome to the Community Forums @KGM-26 and @DividedSkye! As mentioned here, the Google 3A is not yet a supported device with the Fitbit app. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
If your device is syncing but not receiving notifications, I'd recommend taking a look at the help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Let me know if there's anything I may do to assist you with.

This phone has been out a while now. When will Fitbit catch up?

I'm using a Pixel 3a with my Inspire HR.
While the pairing works successfully, it does have sync issues.
The Pixel 3a pairs successfully, and works for a few days, but then loses connection continuously. Sometimes after 2-3 days the phone Pixel 3a syncs successfully, and then is in disconnected mode for another 2-3 days. And so it goes on... It seems that the Pixel 3a has a sync issue with my Fitbit HR. I tried all suggested sync-issue Support articles, reinstalling the app, etc but no luck.
During the sync issue, it seems that Pixel 3a loses its connection to the FitBit device. In the FitBit app, it keeps on searching... and eventually times out.
I'd love to see FitBit Support look into this.

Synching : I meant connected thru Bluetooth, so the Fitbit device can exchange its data (steps, calories,...) with the Fitbit App on your phone. And this includes phone & text notifications. In my case, as the Fitbit only occassionally syncs / connects with my Google Pixel 3a phone, I also do not receive any text messages or notifications on my phone.

I just upgraded my phone to the Google Pixel 3A and want to use my Fitbit call and text notifications. I used them frequently and it was important to me to have. Please develop this for the Google Pixel 3A. Thank you.

Apparently not I bought my Google Pixel 3A phone for 5 months ago and my Fitbit still is not working! Or is it the Google Pixel 3A that needs to be fixed which is it? So who's going to take responsibility and fix it apparently neither Google Pixel or Fitbit!
