Condensation in Versa

I used my fitbit for the first time in the pool and it started behaving erratically and then quickly became unresponsive. I turned it over and I can see some condensation. I contact Fitbit and they say you are outside warranty. Is there something I can do here, clearly they have some water-resistant issues with their watch. This is the first time the watch has acted up and that too after the first time I used in the pool.

I am in disagreement with the answer you received.  Clearly there is a problem with this product and they need to quit selling it as "Water Resistant"  It is not.
