One option would be to use the drivebit app, you start it when you start driving and stop it when you finish. It will then subtract any "steps" from that period out of your totals for the day.
Another option is to start a workout when you start driving and stop it when you finish. Then go into the fitbit app - exercise tile - the workout you have just recorded - edit the workout and change it to driving. This should do the same as the drivebit app (Infact that's what the app pretty much does behind the scenes).
Hope this can be of some use to you

Hi @Nohazem
The free version should work just fine, although it will "contain ads and come without the fine-grained settings available in the paid version". I would say try that first and see how you get on with it. If you want to disable the ads or unlock the additional features, the paid version is a very reasonable price.
I use the Android version, so it's difficult for me to know what is missing from the free version for the iPhone.

The device will continue to count steps, but when you sync it with your account the extra steps will be removed (so say your total steps upto that point are 1500, and you gained 500 of those during your drive. You will see 500 removed and your total go down to 1000 after the sync). I tested this myself by driving with the app, the device will continue to count steps, then stop the app and allow it to upload the data to your account, sync the watch with the account and the number of steps should reduce.
I know it sounds long winded but that is just so you can get a better understanding of how the process works.
This is at least how it works for me on Android.

Just ignore the extra steps, no way to avoid it. Mine counts steps still even if I use exercise mode and tell it I am riding my bike. Versa is not that smart.

It is just crazy that it thinks I’m running 80 mph. I apparently took 4000+ steps in an hour and a half yesterday driving down the interstate.
