Current Blaze users - Versa

Since it's clear that Fitbit's intent is to abandon it's blaze users (ie pretending they don't exist and rolling out the Versa as it's replacement while simultaneously providing little to no software updates to the Blaze).

I was just wondering if it is Fitbit's intent to let it's abandoned Blazer users/customers replace their now phased out product at no cost and/or a substantial discount to current Blaze owners. Given they do fundamentally the same things (literally the only difference is you can swim with the Versa, it has 'apps' and you can send generic text replies) this makes sense for the current owners of the abandoned Blaze.

I would like to hear from an actual Fitbit administrator is possible. Thanks.

It totally depends. When I try to sell my old electronic gadgets online, I first check eBay for recently completed listings, i.e. recently sold items, for the same product. That gives you a good idea of what people are willing to pay for the item and for what condition. A quick search on eBay for Fitbit Blaze shows me listings in the range of $65 to almost $100 for a range of conditions. You should do your own research and go with that. Also, always ask for a bit more than you expect. That way, when you bargain down with a potential buyer you can get closer to your expected value. Plus try to sell it in a safe scenario if doing it in person and never accept PayPal or Venmo or other such apps for cash. People can easily send you money and then make a claim in the app to reverse the transaction. Best bet is cold hard cash (plus check that the money is not counterfeit of course). Second best bet is selling it on eBay as they take care of fraud usually pretty well.

My blaze starting to mess up and I'm now getting it replaced since it's still under warranty. The only thing I wish is that when you have the option of getting the 50% off another device, that the 50% would apply to the same updated model and not one of lesser value.
