Dashboard data switching back and forth.

I’m struggling to figure out what the problem with the app is. It’s really difficult to explain the issue without showing it but Iv done my best to highlight in the pictures what I mean. 
I open up the app (all up to date) on an iPhone XS Max (all up to date also) and the value on the dashboard flicks between two different number for the calories and now and again for other things like steps and distance. It does this a couple of times and then settles on the value that’s not correct. I have to select each individual section l go into that menu to get the accurate data. It’s really frustrating. Never had this with my Alta HR. As soon as the app synced all my info was right there not flicking back and forth. 
Right now I want to send this thing back. 
Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is doing the same thing. I says that i only have 6 minutes of exercise but shows the correct amount for only a second.

Happens with the Charge 3 also. I think the issue is with the app itself.
