Hi does anyone know how to sync with two separate devices?

I currently have my versa 2 watch synced with my Samsung tablet but I also want it synced with my Apple I phone. I'm not real tech savvy 🙂

@KJM1971 There's no special tricks. Just download the app on your iPhone and sign in to your account. Until I broke my oldest phone, I had my Fitbits on three devices. And they could all be side by side.

Hello @KJM1971 and welcome to the Help forum.  There is one thing you need to know when you want to sync to multiple devices.  If you have your Fitbit set to receive notifications from a device, your Fitbit makes a tight Bluetooth bond with that device and won't sync to other devices.  So you need to turn off notifications in order to sync with a different device.

Your Fitbit has an all day sync feature that you can't turn off unless you quit the app.  When you sync, your data goes to your Fitbit account and so your tablet and phone dashboards will show the same data.  If you set your Fitbit to get text, call, calendar notifications from your iPhone, and your phone is always nearby, you may find that you don't have a reason to sync with your tablet.

@LZeeW Have you personally tried this yourself? I've been doing it for years and never had to turn notifications off to sync to another device.

At one point I had three phones side by side that I used concurrently. I was looking at the Fitbit app so much that spreading usage across devices saved battery on the main cell phone.

@MarkMM   This used to happen with my phone and iPad.  That iPad won't support the necessary iOS, is technically obsolete, but still serves a purpose.  The current Fitbit models aren't compatible with Fitbit Connect, so there is no point in trying with my MacBook.

I wish I could check with another phone/tablet.  This advice was supported by moderator comments when I gave it in the past.  I will certainly stop giving it if I am incorrect.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
