Difference in distance using Fitbit app and strava app

Went on a walk today using Fitbit app and strava app independently and Fitbit recorded 5.4 miles and strava app recorded 6.5 miles. Obviously a significant difference!

Hi 

Yes I started the walk manually through fitbit. Not sure if it did lose GPS as I also recorded it seperately through Strava so that mapped it.  I've done this walk a few times before and it was way out in distance.

@L1977 Did you start the walk exercise manually on your Fitbit? Was the GPS connected all time? Fitbit is aware of some GPS issues and is working on resolving them. They will have to be addressed with the update.
