Is this you? I've had my Versa about 10 days, and while set-up was one of the most frustratingly bad exp's I've had on Android, I have sorted it out and for the most part I do enjoy the device except for......I have to start my day by un installing the Fitbit app on my phone and re installing it, so the Versa and the app can sync, otherwise it just doesn't happen. I've had all day sync both on and off and it seems to not matter. I'm not a software engineer, but I have to say, I have never had connectivity issues like this in all my years of smartphone use, just seems to be buggy and unstable. If you look at all the comments on these forums about this, Fitbit has to fix this issue. My phone: Moto Play Z, running Android 8 (Oreo).

Unfortunately your phone is not on the Supported Devices List whichnis I think why you are having problems. My phone IS supported and the Versa is trouble free to sync. All you can do is work through the troubleshoots in THIS Help Article on Syncing problems.

If you've never had connectivity issues, you haven't done much with bluetooth before. Every device out there seems to have its own ideas about how it should work.

OK, that's kind of my point. Before I laid down $200 for the Versa, I purchased a $35 Tracker (China KO) on AMZN, It was very similar to the Alta HR band in looks and capabilities, and it ran problem free and synced in the background without failure. I was so pleased, I confirmed to myself that upgrading to a Versa would certainly heighten my experience. Sadly no, quite the opposite.
I had no cue there was a supported devices list, and frankly that is a knock against Fitbit that their firmware/software and $200 device can't handle a popular Android phone and operating system.

Seriously, every BT pairing I've ever had ...speakers, car, AMZN device etc has worked flawlessly.
Fitbit has a problem that they are not addressing.
