I just received the Versa Lite yesterday and I got it successfully set up and paired to my LG v30. However, it doesn't stay connected. I keep my Bluetooth and data both turned on. I have good service. Only time ive got it to sync is when I "unpair" and re-pair the versa lite to my phone. Even doing that, it only worked twice out of the 20+ times I tried. Ive tried everything I could that I found online and through the fitbit site. I'm at a loss. I was so excited to get my new fitbit, now I'm just irritated and wondering why I wasted $150... Help please?

@Jstine2388 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Sorry for the delayed response.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced to sync your Fitbit Versa. Thank you for trying to get it resolved before contacting us. I couldn't find the LG v30 on the list of compatible devices. You might still be able to sync but we won't be able to guarantee that everything will work as intended.
I would appreciate if you confirm that you have followed our basic troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues. If this doesn't help, you can perform a factory reset but please keep in mind the apps and all personal data will be erased from the device, including any credit or debit cards you added:
On your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data.
@Odyssey13 @Kenzibit Thanks for your support and comments.

Try these
1. Open the app on your phone
2. Click your watch in the upper right corner
3. Scroll to the last option (Always Connected) and toggle it ON if OFF.
ALSO
Some phones automatically kill phone services to save battery, in the case, your LG might be automatically disabling Bluetooth connection to the watch, you can check in online forums for solutions since there are ways to counter this behavior, you aren't the first person with this issue. There was a post on phones killing Bluetooth connection on reddit but forgotten the steps to solve the issue since it varies with phones. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL on Android 9 Pie and have never experienced any connection issue with my watch. I think they are a perfect combo. Hope this helps cuz I doubt Fitbit will limit the Lite version to timely connection with phones. It's light cuz they took some options out but doubt constant and always connection to phone is part.
