Difficulties while changing bands

I love my Fitbit but I hate the band.  I wanted a leather band and had problems changing the band.  One side of my band came off after several weeks and I cannot get it back on.  I have watched numerous videos but still can't get it on.  Any helpful tips?

I change my band three times a week. I gave up today since I can’t get one side to lock. I am breaking my nail doing it. Thankfully I gave my old Blaze, easy band changing, so I will wear it today.

This design is terrible.

Yes replacing the band or changing it is a big pain in arse.  The easiest way to do this is to have the band bent down when trying to insert the pins into the watch.  It is a bit tricky but can be done after some trial and error or 1 hour which ever comes first

I think you have to have it at the right angle to get it to work.

I’ve returned it. I had more issues than the band. That just was the last straw.
Thanks

This is what I’d do but I have trouble getting it to lock in

@jerrelynn Thank you for getting back! Since you mentioned that one side of the band got off, I would like to know if you see if the band is broken and that's the reason why the band doesn't lock in.

Epic Fail Fitbit, I will be returning new Versa secondary to how difficult it is to change the bands

I completely left Fitbit and went with Apple Watch.  Much happier all around and a breeze to change a watch band.

I’ve gone to Apple Watch. Thanks

Edna

No problem. I changed to Apple Watch in November. I’m much happier and am getting more accurate readings and changing bands are a breeze.

Thanks for the response

I received my new Versa yesterday after my Blaze died. I spent 15 minutes trying to get band off. then I spent and hour trying to get it back on. My thumb nail got down to the quick and starting bleeding. i was so frustrated. i watched U tube etc. but it didn't help. i actually got it in but it popped right back off. I called Cust support and they are sending me a replacement band. That is not going to fix the issue.

The design of the Versa is terrible. Who can get that little pin in the hole and then pull the ball back. I can't image men with big fingers can do this.

All the other Fitbits just pop out and was easy. i wish i had my blaze back.

I think i will be switching to Apple as well.

So disappointed and wouldn't recommend.
