Hi,
I've just purchased a Fitbit Versa to my girlfriend as a gift.
Today we found out that the versa is unable to show unicode characters (Hebrew, in our case).
I can't even describe how disappointed we are. especially after massive promotions and campaigning here in Israel.
We are in **ahem** 2018, when even Chinese-only and cheap Aliexpress's sport bands has unicode support.
If you cheap out on adding unicode support then I'm afraid to know what also you cheaped out on.
And it even shouldn't be such alot of work, I'm a software engineer, with 8 years of experience, and I can't see any difficulty adding unicode support.
You can't just focus on releasing new products and "screw" your customers who already purchased your products, you know that this way it's gonna be their first and last fitbit product.
Thanks,
A very, very, very disappointed customer of yours (for now)

The Versa does support unicode (I know it can display Japanese), but I guess they haven't included Hebrew glyphs yet.

It just can't be serious, this is so bad.
No one is asking for Hebrew/Arabic OS, just that Hebrew / Arabic notifications will appear correctly and not as blank characters.
We felt comfortable enough and that we are in good hands buying Fitbit so we didn't even check that
