Discrepancy between Versa an app about Hourly Activity.

Is anyone else having this issue?   FitBit Versa, Apple iPhone 6s running 12.3.

On my watch, I'm showing 250+ steps on all 11 hours that I track this feature.  Today, I have zero hours with 250+ steps despite having 19,000 steps so far.  I rebooted my watch several times. I picked up one active hour and then that disappeared the next time my phone and watch synced.  I have closed out the app and rebooted the watch a second time and still show zero hours with 250+ steps.

I have had occasions in the past where the watch shows all 11 hours as having 250+ steps and the app will show I missed an hour.

The dashboard in a browser doesn't show this feature.

I have had this issue several times- more frequently recently and am having the same issue tonight. My phone AP says 10 of 13 hours, my VERSA watch say 13 of 13. ALL other areas of the phone AP are syncing.  This is getting incredibly annoying and I've done the turn off, turn on dance several times

Looking at my stats from yesterday, it recorded my 3-hour bike ride as active minutes in the app, but that was it.  It didn't include a 45-minute walk I did earlier in the day.  Step count seems as accurate as ever, however looking at the view of steps they aren't recording against a time.  So I had 21,000 steps yesterday but no time shows steps.

Today I took my 45-minute walk and the 7-8:00 hour showed as active, however, the dot has since disappeared on the phone app.  On the watch, it shows as an active hour.

Have they pushed out a new version of the code?  My Versa used to do a much better job of converting cycling into steps.  For the last month or two, it has been terrible.  I can do a 3-hour bike ride (45 miles or so) and not hit 10,000 steps.

Does FitBit bother with testing before releasing software? It seems like your upgrades break more things than they fix.

With respect to biking, it works much better for mountain biking than with road biking.

They should be able to create an algorithm to get a better step count from cycling.  The trackers can already detect that you are cycling and does a decent job at estimating distance traveled, even without turning on the GPS function of the Versa.  The Surge did a decent job at estimating distance cycling without using the GPS as well.  But converting pedal strokes to steps seems to be beyond their capabilities.  I love busting my butt doing a 65-mile ride in the hot sun and finding I haven't broken 10,000 steps.

The web dashboard isn't tracking hours with more than 250 steps either.

I've added it to my dashboard.  But the only time I use the browser dashboard is to come to the message boards.
