Display not turning on

After working fine all day, the screen on my Versa has stopped working. It’s still counting and keeping track, but the screen is just blue, pink, and green static. It’s not letting me restart or reset it, as I can’t access the screen at all. It’ll flash and vibrate every so often, and the static will change colors. Does anyone have a solution or is it dead? Thanks so much!!

Hi @kellievann, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To resolve this, I recommend you to try our restart process with the buttons of your Versa. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. For Fitbit Versa, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Let me know if the issue persists and if you have any additional questions.

Versa is charged and screen is black, tried everything from back and bottom buttons, all 3 buttons and nothing...Have not had this even 2 years. Was working just fine all day and now nothing.

This happened to me too last night. Full screen was gray with some pink, blues, and green barely showing through. I changed the clock face a few times and restarted a few times with no luck. However, when I woke up this morning it was working again.  Except battery is draining quickly ever since performing the latest update. Support is already working with me to troubleshoot the battery drain.

little update: after exhausting all options and getting help from Fitbit, I ended up having to purchase a new device. Hopefully everyone else experiencing this issue has better luck than me!

Did you update the firmware recently? I'. having the same issue, trying to figure it out, and I saw that a lot of people are having issues with their Versa devices, now that they've updated it.

Now that I removed the device I cannot even add it back, frustrating. Yes,
I did update it before this all happened. The person I talked to had me do
everything I already tried and then offered me 25% off a new device because
I am 6 months out of warranty. This is my second device in 3 1/2
years...maybe time for a switch
