Distance not showing when tracking a "Workout"

For my netball game, I always used to set my FitBit to a "Workout" in the exercise setting & then after I had finished, on the app it would tell me the distance I ran. This is no longer happening. Not sure what has changed, help please? 🙂

Hello @TianaKate8 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that at the moment, only step-based activities will show "distance" when you sync them. As you mentioned you were performing a run, I would like to suggest you to instead of using "Workout" from the exercise tile, use "Run", once you sync that activity you will be able to see the distance traveled.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi,

Is there any update on fitbit syncing workouts? My workouts and sleep data have not been syncing since Monday night.

Thanks.

When I used to use the "Workout" option during a netball game I would every
time run between 6-7km. When I recently used the "Run" option it only said
I ran 1km? So obviously not very accurate.
Is there a way we can make it step based?
And will this change?

Regards,
Tiana
