Do not get Fitbit Versa 2

I am extremely disappointed in my Fitbit Versa 2, which I have had for a week. As soon as I took it out of the box and set it up I have had problems with it. The syncing does not work so my Fitbit does not track my workouts, my sleep or my water logged. In addition, when I log water amounts, the number which appears is completely different than the number typed in. When I called into Fitbit customer service for assistance, I was told to just "track it myself" and that there was nothing they could do for me. I have essentially just purchased an item which doesn't serve it's purpose and is completely useless. I did not purchase a Fitbit so that I could track my own data myself. I would highly recommend not getting a Fitbit as I have had nothing but terrible experiences dealing with the customer service and with my device.

Hi @RyleeBoyle , besides the fact that my personal experiences with the Versa 2 are totally the opposite, which phone are you using? This is essential to know, regards kuzibri

Hi Kuzibri,
I have an iPhone XR and I have ensured that I have all of the latest updates for the Fitbit app and the iPhone. I have also deleted and reinstalled everything, reset my Fitbit to factory settings and reset it up, and made sure all of my Bluetooth connections are working and connected.

Hi @RyleeBoyle , restart your Versa 2 three times in a row (internal reset) and see if that solves your problems. The only problems you should have with the Versa 2 and your iPhone are notification problems due to the iOS 13 update. Good luck and regards, kuzibri

Hi Kuzibri,
Thank you for your help, but I have already tried restarting my Versa 2 three times in a row and have pretty much tried everything else to get my Versa 2 to work when on call with customer service. Nothing has worked and customer service doesn’t have any other ideas for how to get my problem resolved other than tracking it myself.
