Does Starbucks require NFC version?-Versa

Do we know if apps like Starbucks will work on the standard U.S. edition or do you need the special edition with NFC for them to work?

The Starbucks app doesn't use NFC, it displays a barcode/QR code. With this in mind there is no reason it shouldn't work on the standard edition.

The Starbucks app doesn't use NFC, it displays a barcode/QR code. With this in mind there is no reason it shouldn't work on the standard edition.
